At the Law Office of Kim S. Millman, we help manage your goals for three distinct time periods: health, illness and death. We navigate the complications of trust administration after someone has passed away. We also draft estate planning documents to plan for your assets and your loved ones in the event of death or incapacity.

Our philosophy is simple. We want to create the plan and documents that work for you and your family. Our planning is custom to you and your needs: your family, your assets, your issues. We work in the areas of trust administration, estate planning, incapacity planning, charitable planning, and estate tax planning.

Trust administration is difficult, but we aim to make it simple. Dealing with documents, assets, laws, and governmental requirements after a death is complicated and counterintuitive. Our goal is to deal with these complexities so that your trustee, loved ones, and heirs do not have to.

Our practice is not so simple. In order to accomplish the above, we will need to meet with you, to interview you, to understand exactly what you want and why you want it. We will invest the time and energy to evaluate your desires and to discuss and explain the legal and practical ramifications of your wishes. For our deceased clients, we will dig through the documents, assets, books, records, and whatever else we need to in order to figure out what the assets are, what needs to be done, and how to clean up any issues so that assets can be distributed pursuant to the estate planning documents.
